The CDJ-1500X is a new DJ multi player from AlphaTheta that’s perfect for a wide range of environments, from bars and small clubs to anywhere that flexibility, professional features, and space-saving design are key.
Compact design fits in smaller DJ booths
Designed with compact DJ booths in mind, the CDJ-1500X is ideal for bars, small clubs, and home setups. While it includes many key features of the flagship CDJ-3000X, it has a significantly smaller footprint, making it easy to fit the unit into tighter spaces and combine it with turntables and other gear to create a custom setup.
10.1-inch touchscreen and enhanced track visualization
The CDJ-1500X includes the 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen from the flagship CDJ-3000X. The browse screen displays up to 15 tracks at once, and waveform previews help you understand the music’s structure at a glance.
The main waveform display includes visual indicators for vocal positions, BPM change points, and phrase structures. Playlist Edit enables you to rearrange tracks within playlists directly on the CDJ, and, with a choice of dark and light display modes, the information on the screen stays highly visible no matter where you’re playing.
Cloud connectivity and NFC login
Access your cloud-based rekordbox library and millions of tracks from streaming services, directly from the CDJ-1500X. With built-in Wi-Fi, you can play your tracks with rekordbox CloudDirectPlay using a compatible rekordbox subscription plan, as well as songs from platforms such as Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal using StreamingDirectPlay. You can also access your personal settings and playlists instantly via NFC touch login by tapping your mobile device – with rekordbox for iOS/Android installed – on the CDJ.
New CoBeat service enhances crowd interaction and unity on the dancefloor
The CDJ-1500X is the first AlphaTheta multi player that’s compatible with the new CoBeat service. By scanning a QR code (created by you or the venue in advance), CoBeat lets the audience browse a catalog of tracks you’ve already chosen. They can vote for you to play these tracks or send you a message to request other songs. All this information is gathered on the CDJ-1500X, where requests are displayed
on the browse screen, ready for you to drop into your set. You can turn CoBeat on and off whenever
you like.
Customizable look that blends into any space
With its minimalistic user interface and matte black finish, the CDJ-1500X blends seamlessly into any setup or space. In the front panel, an illuminated bay with 2 USB ports (1 x Type-C, 1 x Type-A), makes it easy to connect USB drives and keeps them neatly stowed away. You can choose from 12 colors for the LED lighting and, thanks to the screw holes on the sides of the multi player, you can add optional panels to customize the look of your CDJs.
